Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information DentaVerge collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have kept it in plain language — if anything is unclear, contact us and we will explain it.

Who we are

DentaVerge Marketing Inc., trading as DentaVerge, operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

You can reach us at 130–889 Harbourside Dr., North Vancouver, BC V7P 3S1, Canada, by email at contact@dentaverge.com, or by phone at +1 604-259-1000.

We are a marketing studio that works with dental practices. This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the websites we build or operate for our clients, each of which publishes its own privacy policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and to keep the website working. We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not sell yours.

  • Information you give us — when you submit the contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the practice details you describe, and anything else you choose to include in your message.
  • Information collected automatically by our host — standard web server logs, which include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the site or search that referred you, and the time of your visit. These logs are used to operate and secure the site.
  • Information collected by embedded third-party content — the Google Map on our contact page loads only after you click it, and the contact form is served by Craftify AI. Each is described below.

How we use it, and the consent we rely on

We use the information above to respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, to provide and secure the website, and to comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Under PIPEDA and the BC Personal Information Protection Act, we rely on your consent. Submitting the contact form is your express consent for us to contact you about your enquiry; using the site is implied consent for the server logging described above. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, subject to any legal or contractual records we are required to keep.

We will not use your information for a new purpose that you would not reasonably expect without asking you first. We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not profile you for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run this website and our business, and only so far as they need it to do that job for us.

  • Website hosting and form processing — Craftify AI, which hosts this site and delivers the contact form embedded on our contact page, and therefore receives what you submit through it.
  • Google Analytics 4 — measures how the site is used. Loading any page sends your IP address, the page viewed, and browser information to Google.
  • Google Maps — only if you click to load the map on our contact page. Loading it sends your IP address and browser information to Google. The map does not load, and Google receives nothing, unless you click it.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site are served from our own domain, so browsing the site does not send a request to Google for them.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — our accountants or lawyers where they need it, and any authority where we are legally required to disclose, for example under a court order.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of that country, and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities there.

We use providers that commit to appropriate contractual protections, and we keep the amount of information transferred to what is necessary. If you would prefer to reach us without using the online form, email or phone us directly using the details above.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It sets its own cookies and reports a truncated IP address, the pages you view, and general information about your device and browser to Google. We use it only in aggregate — we do not use it to identify you, we run no advertising or remarketing pixel, and we do not track you across other websites.

Third-party content you choose to load can also set its own cookies: the Google Map, once you click to load it, and the embedded contact form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's Do Not Track or an analytics opt-out; the site works without them, though the map and form may not.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months from our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we need it longer for tax or legal records. Server logs are kept for a short operational period by our host and then discarded. Records we are required to keep for tax or corporate purposes are held for the period the law requires, and no longer.

Your rights and choices

Under PIPEDA and the BC Personal Information Protection Act you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, and be told how it has been used and who it has been disclosed to.
  • Correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw your consent to our continued use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits, and ask us to delete it.
  • Ask a question or make a complaint about how we have handled it.

How to make a request or a complaint

Email contact@dentaverge.com or write to us at 130–889 Harbourside Dr., North Vancouver, BC V7P 3S1, Canada. We will respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires, and we may need to verify your identity before we act on a request. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, for matters under BC PIPA, to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

How we protect it

This site is served over HTTPS, access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it, and our providers are chosen for their security practices. We hold no payment card details on this site.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report it to the Privacy Commissioner and notify affected individuals as PIPEDA requires.

Children

This website is intended for dental practice owners and their teams. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do with personal information changes, or when the law does. The date at the top shows the last substantive revision. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
